ソウル/ファンクのオブスキュアな音源のコンピレーションがまたまた登場です。

今回はワシントンD.C.に残されたレア音源をコンパイルした『Washington Lost Soul』！！

かつてはThe Enjoyablesのメンバーでその後、プロデューサーに転向したというCarl Maxx Kiddの手掛けた全15曲を収録。

The Fawns、The Stridells、The Acoustics、Young Senatorsなど一般的には知名度が低いのですが、DJやコレクターには垂涎の的なアーティストによるフィリーソウル系の音から最近流行りのモダンソウル、ファンクナンバーと1969年から1975年にかけての黒人音楽の移り変わりも楽しめる素晴らしい内容です。

M14以外は全て初CD化、M3、15は未発表曲というここでしか聴けない曲が満載です！！！
